BioMart: Finding Gene-Based Information on the Web Online
This class introduces BioMart, a tool for mining Ensembl Genome Browser data using complex queries without programming skills. Hands-on examples to be worked through during the class include downloading genomic sequence; associating genes with variants; and locating genes by region, gene ID, phenotype, and gene ontology.
