Life After Hopkins: Accessing Resources Beyond Graduation Online

Although access to library subscription databases may end upon completing your graduate program, there are still abundant resources available to support your continued research and learning.  In this session, we’ll demonstrate how to maintain access to your files in Covidence, RefWorks, and PubMed, and introduce you to Hopkins KnowledgeNet—a platform provided by the Hopkins Alumni Association that offers continued access to a wide array of academic databases and journals. We’ll also explore freely accessible resources such as PubMed Central and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), along with other open-access tools that ensure you stay connected to scholarly content long after graduation.

Key topics will include:

·        Understanding the transition from institutional access to public access

·        Accessing digital resources such as open-access journals, e-books, and repositories

·        Exploring free educational platforms, professional networks, and research tools
