Search Smarter: Tools and Techniques for Comprehensive Reviews Online
This course reviews the essential skills for conducting comprehensive literature searches in support of evidence synthesis reviews. Participants will learn the systematic approach to literature searching, explore key academic databases and their unique features, master fundamental database search techniques including keyword and subject heading strategies, and discover methods for identifying grey literature and other sources beyond traditional databases.
The session also provides an overview of reference management tools and workflows to organize and track sources throughout the research process.
