Introduction to ArcGIS: Getting Started with ArcGIS Pro
This JHU Data Services 90-minute workshop is designed for anyone new to geographic data or mapmaking. You will get a guided introduction to ArcGIS Pro, the most widely used geographic information system (GIS) software. Learn how to navigate the software, explore data, and create a simple map from start to finish. No prior GIS experience required.
We recommend that participants install ArcGIS Pro before the workshop so they can follow along with the hands-on exercises. Otherwise, you will be able to watch the demonstration but not actively participate. Please refer to our Esri Software Access guide to download and install ArcGIS Pro.
